The Lakers are among the elite teams in the league. The best in the Western Conference, year in and year out.
They’re the NBA’s most complete team, have the best player in the league in Kobe Bryant, 30 Conference titles and 15 NBA Championships.
One team, however, doesn’t seem to be in much of awe of the Lake Show: The Charlotte Bobcats.
It seems a bit odd that a team that has never reached the postseason in their franchise’s young existence, can cause the Lakers so many problems when they matchup.
But that’s exactly what it is.
Since their arrival to the NBA in 2004, the Cavaliers(8-4) and TrailBlazers(11-10) are the only other teams that hold a winning record during the regular season on the Lakers.
Very strange company considering the Lakers’ never-ending rivalry with Portland, and Cleveland having the best young player in the league, LeBron James. Charlotte, however, could barely get a game shown on ESPN.
Which has Lakers fan asking one thing: Why do the Lakers have such a problem with the Bobcats?
