Shootaround Report: Shorthanded Lakers Prepare For Rematch With Rockets

Los Angeles Lakers v Houston RocketsHaving lost eight of their last nine games, the Lakers need to figure out a way to turn things around. It doesn’t get any easier for them as they must quickly get over last night’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks and prepare themselves for another tough game against the Houston Rockets.

This game could be one that the Lakers need, however, as they have tended to play up to the level of their competition. Making it more interesting, of course, is round two against Public Enemy Number One in Lakerland, Dwight Howard. Howard has taken to not talking about the Lakers to the media, but the questions are sure to continue, especially if the Lakers pull off the upset for a second time.

With the Lakers defeating the Rockets in their first meeting thanks to a beautiful last second three-pointer from Steve Blake, the Rockets will surely be looking to avenge that loss. The first game was one of the high points of the Lakers season so far, and they will be looking to repeat that performance tonight.
