Shaquille O’Neal, Scottie Pippen In Heated Battle Over All-Time Teams

Grizzlies v Lakers

On Monday, Shaquille O’Neal posted a picture on Instagram that sparked a heated debate. O’Neal believes if he was playing alongside Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar that the Los Angeles Lakers would crush a Chicago Bulls squad led by Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen by fifty.

Jordan, Pippen and Rose would headline a five-man team along with Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant. A talented group that adds up to a total of 21 NBA titles, one more than the Lakers squad put together by Shaq, but many seem to be agreeing with the future Hall of Famer about Los Angeles coming out on top against Chicago’s best.

Shortly after O’Neal made the controversial post on Instagram, Pippen responded with the following on his Instagram account:

As expected, O’Neal fired right back with a few more posts blasting the Bulls legend:

Anybody need a T MOBILE SIDEKICK. I GOTTa PRETTY GOOD ONE #BESTSIDEKICKEVER

Pippen took the shots from Shaq and kept firing back at the former Lakers superstar:

Easy big fella… if only you were as good at free throws as you are talking smack! @shaq

Speaking of being a sidekick… if I recall correctly you know a thing or two about that as well. @shaq

The debate will rage on with these two NBA legends probably continuing to throw jabs at one another on social media. It wouldn’t be all that surprising to see Kobe, Magic and maybe even Jordan get involved in this debate further fueling the fire.
