NBA Rumors: Dwight Howard Recruiting Deron Williams to Orlando

Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic has been the center of trade rumors for quite some time. One minute he wants to stay in Florida and the other minute he is going to the general manager requesting a trade.

According to reports, Howard is willing to sign long-term extension with either the Magic, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets or Los Angeles Lakers.

However, sources have told WKMG Local 6 in Orlando that Howard may be rethinking his trade request from the Magic. He is supposedly recruiting Deron Williams in hopes of forming a dynamic duo in central Florida. Howard said he would remain in Orlando is the team brings in talent, and the addition of Williams would surely keep Superman with the team.

Sources added that there is a 80 percent chance that Dwight Howard will stay in Orlando, something that will upset Lakers fans.

There is no doubt the Lakers are targeting Howard and they are hoping to pull the trigger on a trade that will bring him to Los Angeles. However, if All-Star point guard Deron Williams goes to Orlando, the Lakers, and any other team looking to make a trade, can say good-bye to Howard.
