The National Basketball Association is currently working with the Players Association in order to settle a dispute and ultimately avoid a “lock-out.”  The main issue in this current dilemma is the amount of money the players will and should receive.  The owners and the league want the players to take less money, while the players want to protect their money and their career.  Kobe Bryant is financially sound, but he does not agree with the league’s motives to cut down on player salaries.  He wants the owners to, “look in the mirror,” and stop making the players sacrifice the most. Bryant says he will help the next generation of players get their fair share of money. [Sporting News]
