Lakers YouTube Video Of The Week: Nash’s Behind-The-Back Crossover

This week’s play of the week award goes to guard Steve Nash for this impressive behind-the-back move on Evan Turner this past Friday against the Sixers. Nash celebrated his 40th birthday Friday night with a season high 19 points, which included this play late in the first half. Despite being the oldest active player in the NBA, Nash still has his flashback moments here and there. Nash returned for two games after missing an extended period of time due to a back injury. However, the 18 year veteran re-injured himself in a home loss to the Bulls this past Sunday. The timetable on Nash’s injury is still to be determined, but the veteran still has some tricks up his sleeve which the Sixers learned all too well. The Lakers went on to win this game 112-98, and finished their three game road trip with a 2-1 record. Check back next week to see which Laker gets awarded play of the week.
