Lakers News: Time Warner Cable Releases Updated TWC SportsNet App

Time Warner Cable Lakers Satellite

Time Warner Cable SportsNet is the home of the Los Angeles Lakers and they have done a tremendous job in covering the team on and off the court. Now, TWC SportsNet has updated its app and it will include a second screen experience which will provide users with extensive coverage during the game and all the coverage before and after the game as well.

The Wall Street Journal published the press release early this afternoon and it explained the features of the second screen experience on the  TWC SportsNet App:

Second screen features include interviews, behind-the-scenes content, instant replays, interactive prompts, player and game facts, poll questions, game stats, scores from around the NBA and live Twitter chatter about the Los Angeles Lakers. For iPad users, the application also offers a picture-in-picture feature that allows fans to interact with the second screen and watch the game on their tablet at the same time.

The application seems to give fans an experience that cannot be found anywhere else. If you are a diehard Lakers fan, then this application might be worth downloading. The second screen experience will allow fans to go behind the scenes and gain valuable insight.

Just download the application and the second screen experience will be available by clicking the “TWCS 2NDSCREEN” tab. The application is free to download, but in order to access all the features it provides, you must be Time Warner Cable SportsNet user and have a profile with the providers that carry the network.
