A lot of the focus has been on Kobe Bryant and how he has looked like his normal self so far, but according to Lakers reporter Mike Trudell, there is another guard who is looking good so far:

Kobe isn’t the only one impressed by Price’s performance so far as head coach Byron Scott also singled out the veteran according to the OC Register’s Bill Oram:

The guard situation for the Lakers is an interesting one right now. Xavier Henry has yet to practice, likely putting him behind the eight ball. Rookie Jordan Clarkson has caught the eye of Kobe Bryant as well, but he is still a rookie and no one knows quite what to expect from him.

Kobe always prefers to play with people he trusts and if people don’t meet that standard, they won’t be seeing the floor. Price seems to be doing that very quickly which could bode well for him down the line.
