Lakers News: Pau Gasol Out Thursday Night vs. New York Knicks

Pau Gasol will once again be on the bench when the Lakers take the floor tonight at Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks. Gasol, who has missed the last several games for Los Angeles due to tendinitis in both his knees, will remain sidelined tonight in the Big Apple.

The news first broke courtesy of Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News.

As Medina mentioned, Antawn Jamison will get the start in place of Gasol.

If you recall, Jordan Hill received the starting nod on Tuesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers with Jamison coming off the bench.

The game is scheduled for 5:00 PST tonight in New York. It will be televised nationally on TNT.
