Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Will Not Play Sunday vs. Kings

According to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com, Kobe Bryant will not play in tonight’s game versus the Sacramento Kings. Bryant was considered a game-time decision until he ultimately decided that his ankle was too sore to play on about an hour before the game.

After a controversial landing on Dahntay Jone’s ankle, Kobe was diagnosed with a severely sprained ankle immediately following last Wednesdays game against the Atlanta Hawks. Despite trying to play on the bad ankle against Indiana two days later, he came out the game early and did not return.
