Lakers News: James Worthy Celebrates 52nd Birthday

James WorthyLakers Nation would like to take a minute to wish a very happy birthday to Laker legend James Worthy, who turned 52 years-old on Wednesday. Worthy, who spent his entire career with the Lakers, currently works in the studio for Time Warner Cable SportsNet dissecting Laker games.

During his time as a member of the Lakers, Worthy won three NBA championships as a member of the famed Showtime squad, and was named NBA Finals MVP in 1988 against the Detroit Pistons. Worthy also has his number 42 jersey hanging in the rafters of the Staples Center.

So, everybody here at Lakers Nation would like to wish a very happy 52nd birthday to ‘Big Game’ James Worthy.
