Lakers News: Dwight Howard to Announce Decision via Twitter

All the teams interested in Dwight Howard’s services may have to wait another day or two. According to Janis Carr of OC Register, Dwight intends to announce his decision via Twitter (@DwightHoward) over the weekend:

Over the past few days, the news leaked of Dwight set to make his final decision on his long-term future on Friday. All indications pointed to the Houston Rockets or Los Angeles Lakers being the top two teams, but the Golden State Warriors have emerged as a potential suitor with the team looking to unload contracts in order to sign him.

Although the Lakers and Rockets appear to be neck-and-neck in the Dwight sweepstakes, the Warriors may be able to pull off a deal and as a result land the league’s best center.

Even though the consensus was the Dwightmare would come to an end on Friday, it still remains unclear where the perennial All-Star will be signing or exactly when the announcement will be made through his Twitter account.

*Update: 11:29 PM

It seems that Carr may have jumped the gun a bit on this one. So, ultimately, we still have no idea what’s going on.
