Kobe Named to 13th Straight All-Star Team

Congratulations to Kobe Bryant for being named to his 13th consecutive all-star team and being the top overall vote-getter in the balloting process.. The starters for the event, which will be held on February 20th in Los Angeles, were announced early Thursday evening.

Starting alongside Bryant for the Western Conference’s team will be New Orleans’ guard Chris Paul, Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant, Denver forward Carmelo Anthony and Houston center Yao Ming.

Bryant’s streak of consecutive all-star appearances puts him one selection shy of the all-time record, currently held by Jerry West, Shaquille O’Neal and Karl Malone.
