Kobe Bryant Wants to Remain With Lakers For Life

In a recent interview with Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports Kobe Bryant discussed some of the recent speculation that he may demand a trade from the Lakers.

When Bryant was asked the question of whether or not he wanted to remain with the Lakers he answered in the affirmative.

“I’ve been here for 16 years. I’m going to up and leave now?”

This will come as a positive sign for Lakers fans who may have been concerned after hearing Stephen A. Smith mention Bryant demanding a trade.

Bryant also touched on a variety of other things during the interview, including last season’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks, the NBA lockout, and Chris Paul.
