The biggest free agent on the market is obviously LeBron James, but it appears he and Kobe Bryant will be in Brazil the next two weeks for the 2014 FIFA World Cup according to the Miami Herald’s Michelle Kaufman via ESPN Brasil:

While it is unclear whether both will be watching the World Cup together, it does present an interesting scenario. Although most believe LeBron will eventually re-sign with Miami after both Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh opted out to clear significant cap space, his free agency decision is reportedly up in the air.

Since Carmelo Anthony opted out of his contract with the New York Knicks, there were also reports Kobe would meet with the All-Star forward. With the Lakers looking to sign both Anthony and James this off-season, it would not come as a surprise if the five-time champion recruited James as well.

After two season-ending injuries, Bryant looks to finish the final two seasons of his career on a high note. With the Western Conference getting stronger every season, Kobe will need a lot of help if he wants to win his sixth championship, which would of course tie him with Michael Jordan.
