Kobe Bryant Gives Maria Menounos Props For Representing Celtics

celtceleb10__1276659108_5788After having Maria Menounos removed from Lakers game, it’s clear that Jack Nicholson does not condone Boston Celtics-like behavior at Staples Center, but five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant seems to have respect for it.

During an interview with Conan O’Brien, Maria shared Kobe Bryan’t approval to represent the Celtics. During a red carpet event before the NBA All-Star Game, Kobe Bryant eyed Maria from head to toe and said:

“I see you, wearing you’re green for your Celtics…I actually really respect you. You really take up for your team and you’re not scared in our territory to show your love.”

Menounos was not allowed to wear a Celtics jersey on the red carpet, so she proudly wore a bright green shirt to show off her die hard Celtic pride. Maria said that Kobe acted cool about the whole situation and did not bother to taunt or make fun of her for representing her team.
