Kobe Bryant Finds Motivation In Los Angeles Times Article

One of the biggest takeaways from the weekend’s media day is that the Lakers, as a unit, seem to be motivated by the ubiquitous lowered expectations from the local and national media. Steve Nash said that the lowered expectations are something that should be embraced by this team moving forward, and Kobe Bryant has tweeted about the ESPN rank in the past.

Now, Bryant has found more motivation, this time it’s personal. The Los Angeles Times had a headline in their newspaper suggesting that Bryant will be a shell of his former self. Whether or not these sentiments come to fruition, Bryant has added another form of motivation that will have him wanting to come back and perform at his highest level possible, and to be able to put his team in its best position to win.
