There have been some legendary players to wear the Lakers uniform throughout the decades, but there will never be another player quite like Shaquille O’Neal. The 7-foot center was literally and figuratively the biggest guy in the room, and had a personality that delighted the fans and the media.
However, O’Neal’s off-court behavior was nothing compared to his dominance on the floor. During his career O’Neal won four NBA championships, three of which were with the Los Angeles Lakers. O’Neal was also named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player during those three titles with the Lakers, and helped turn the Lakers into the first dynasty of the 21st century.
