Gilbert Arenas Discusses Kobe Bryant’s Greatness
[new_royalslider id=”295″]

Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas has been very complimentary of Kobe Bryant over the years. In a video on STACKTV, the former All-Star talked about what makes the five-time champion great. According to Arenas, this is what separates Bryant from other players via Kobe Bryant – Our Legend:

”That’s what makes that player better than everyone else, what made Jordan better than everyone else. He believed in himself so much that he made you believe in him.”

In addition, Arenas talked about the mental aspect of Kobe’s game even when just working out with other players:

”If he works out with you, he’s not working out with you to make you better, he’s working out with you to see what you can’t do. Kobe will measure you, gauge you, mess with you. That’s what makes him the best.”

Arenas talked about various stories in which he describes Kobe’s mental toughness and contributes his success as a superstar to his mental attitude. He also talked about the five-time champion telling Carmelo Anthony, then league leading scorer, that he would be the scoring champion at the end of the season. While Anthony was laughing, Arenas believes those comments eventually got into the All-Star forward’s head.
