Andrew Bynum Named to All-NBA Second Team

After a breakout season that featured his first appearance in the NBA All-Star game, Andrew Bynum has been named to the all-NBA second team.

Bynum averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game during the 2011-12 campaign, but the most impressive statistic was his durability. After missing the first four games of the season due to a suspension, Bynum only missed one game the rest of the year. After an injury-filled history, this was an enormous accomplishment for the young center.

Bynum is the second Laker to be named to one of the all-NBA teams for this season, as Kobe Bryant was first team all-NBA for the tenth time in his career.
