2018 NBA Awards: Kyle Kuzma Nominated For ‘Best Style,’ Lakers Tied To Dunk Of The Year Through Larry Nance Jr.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is a nominee for the ‘Best Style’ Award at the 2018 NBA Awards. The show is to air Monday, June 25, at 6 p.m. PT, live from Barker Hanger in Los Angeles.

Fan voting is being incorporate to determine a winner for several categories, including Best Style, Dunk of the Year, Block of the Year, Clutch Shot of the Year, Assist of the Year and Handle of the Year. Fans can vote NBA.com, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Voting on social media is completed by posting #AwardName and First/Last Name of their winner (i.e. #BestStyle Kyle Kuzma).

This season’s Dunk of the Year, Block of the Year, Clutch Shot of the Year, Assist of the Year and Handle of the Year winners will be unveiled during TNT’s coverage of the Western Conference Finals.

The five category winners will make up the finalists for Play of the Year, which is also being determined by fan voting. The Play of the Year and Best Style, among other winners, will be announced during the NBA Awards show.

The June 25 event will also see winners announced for traditional NBA Awards, such as, MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man, Most Improved Player, Coach of the Year, Basketball Executive of the Year, Sportsmanship Award, Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award and the Community Assist Award.

For the style award, Kuzma is up against reigning winner Russell Westbrook, James Harden, LeBron James and Nick Young. The Lakers are further represented in the fan-vote awards through Larry Nance Jr. for his flush on Kevin Durant that’s nominated for ‘Dunk of the Year.’
