probably hands down fisher’s clutch 3 to send the game to OT

Without a doubt it was Derek’s 3 against Orlando at the end of regulation — I knew then that #15 would be just a few days away.

Favorite Lakers moment from this past season: The Staples fans doing the WAVE during Western Conference Semi-Finals Game 5, the 40-point victory against the Rockets! An unforgettable moment when I knew the team was destined to win the championship.

How about the wave at the coliseum when we were waiting for the Lakers to arrive! That was a pretty good wave!
[Reply]
Fisher drops a 3 to send game 4 to overtime!
[Reply]
The Fisher shots in regulation and OT. Nothing better than stealing a game we probably shouldn’t have won…and sewing up a championship (for all intents and purposes at the same time!)
This Lakers fan in Ohio would love to get a copy of the DVD!

My favorite is still when Fisher knocked down Scola in the rockets series. I know he took some heat for that, but it ignited the lakers team for the rest of that series.
The rest of the night I just had a big smile on my face and whenever anyone asked me why all I had to say was, “Fisher just wasn’t gonna take it”
Oh and the fact we killed Orlando.

I think that shoulder knocked some sense into the lakers for the entire playoffs! Don’t mess with us cuz we can really lower the boom!
[Reply]
Fisher’s smile after his 3 in OT against Orlando. Priceless.
[Reply]
I think my favorite moment was Odom killing the Cavs on Feb 8, 2009, coming off that back to back road win against Boston. We shattered two major home wining sprees on a two game span. My confidence on how far they will take it skyrocketed after watching the Lakers and Odom come off aggressive on a difficult road game series.

i say this is one of the most underappreciated shots in NBA history! How is this not a staple of the SportsCenter intro I do not know!

WCF game 3 in Denver. Lakers down 2. Kobe hits the three up against the shot clock and in JR Smith’s face.
[Reply]
The best momment was when Kobe won his 4th cookie he is the greatest basketball player in the world. everygame this season the look in his eyes left no doubt in any of our minds when was coaching criticizing or shooting rainbows over Lebron he did it all not like a warrior but like the champion he is 4X

Beating Boston during the regular season. That was a memorable moment.

With out a doubt Kobe putting up 61 ok the knicks after bynum went down big MSG there to the rest of the nba
[Reply]
Without a doubt when the Lakers capped off their amazing season with an amazing game 5. They played their hearts out and they were playing with so much passion. Kobes jump and the smile on his face will be remembered forever. He was a mission and he was successful. How about next year. Can you dig it.
[Reply]
Kobe’s elbow to the face of Nelson that led to Fisher’s 3pt shot in overtime in game 4!!!!
[Reply]
my links not working…anyways..It was Kobe’s falling double-clutch shot in game 5 against orlando.
[Reply]
No doubt it has to be D. Fish and his clutch threes.
[Reply]
Hearing the cheer at the O-rena when Derek Fisher hit the 3 to force overtime.
Or Kobe’s “clearing space” against Jameer Nelson to pass to Fisher.
[Reply]
Without a doubt Fisher’s elbow to Scola. That set the tone for the rest of the playoffs.
Then of course Fisher’s 3pointer at the end of regulation to send to OT!
[Reply]
DFish steam rolling Scola!!!!

Favorite laker moment was when the 2000 Lakers defeated the Blazers in game 7 of the Western Conference finals. Lakers down by 15 pts. in the 4th quarter and on the verge of losing 3 straight games, it took 10 heart pounding minutes for the Lakers to come back from that deficit and win that game. That was the game that showed me that the Lakers finally come together as a team. Lakers ultimately defeated the Pacers the next series to become the NBA champions that year!
[Reply]
A great season and final overall. They definitely deserved this championship.
I LOVE YOU, Kobe Bryant!

I’m a die hard Laker fan from Boston so my most memorable moments involve beating the Celtics at both our meetings this past year. After having to endure the torture of the bandwagon Celtics fans just a year ago when they beat us, it was sweet to be able to throw it all back in their faces this year. I arrived at my office extra early on the morning of the Lakers parade and set our large tv in the main conference room to the Lakers parade. It just so happens that we were having a company meeting at 3pm EST and when they turned the tv on to video conference the other offices in…taaadaaa, yes the Lakers parade. I walked up to the tv and opened up my suit jacket to reveal a Kobe jersey. That was THE best moment of the Lakers season for me.
Even Celtics fans were impressed at the magnitude of the celebration. All the Celtics get is a ride on some hideous duck boats and a stop at Fenway. Whoopdeedoo…the Lakers at the Coliseum was historical and so was our season. Can’t wait for next season to start so we can start a new chapter with Artest.

The Los Angeles Lakers are HANDS DOWN the Best NBA Team in the League…I knew the Lakers were going to win the 2009 Championship Title back in the PRE-Season…I Call’d it & even shot a 2009 Calendar & had the June model where Kobe’s Jersey…Lakers were hunger but KOBE was STARVE’N for the 4th Ring & prove to the World & most of all the Kobe Haters that HE didnt need the Dinosaur Shaq to win Championships…Now Kobe has his 4th & work’n in his 7th…His Jersey # is 1 better then Jordan…So his Ring count will be the Same!!!…Lakers LETS GO!!!
[Reply]
just to stay current my favorite moment was during to championship game 5 I think when the Orlando Magic was directing their whole team on Kobe and Derek L. Fisher took charge of the game and change the direct the baskeball winning the game with Treaver and Lamar…
…and I just want to take this opportunity to say I have enjoyed the following the Lakernation on twitter the overall comments were exactly what I would be saying or thinking, as well as Kareem comment during the finals.
Thank you

My favorite moment was watching Kobe look at the last few seconds on the clock before he won his forth championship, looking like a 5 year old waiting for the ice cream truck to pull up! He was jumping so high! Go Lakers!
[Reply]
For me it was Fish’s foul on Scola….sometimes you just gotta make a statement…”get the [bleep] outta here with that mess!!”
Also…Game 1 of the Finals…hmmmm I wonder why??:))
[Reply]
I enjoyed watching Trevor Ariza make those two key steals against the Nuggets as both were critical for winning each perspective game. The one where he intercepted the inbound pass from Carmelo with like 30+ seconds to go was amazing, he was the X factor for sure!

Favorite moment of the playoffs EASILY has to be DFish attacking the screen on Scolo. No if and or buts, that set the tone for the rest of the series, and made it clear that Lakers were championship material.
[Reply]
I think it was after the first few games of the year, I realized Kobe might just be “all growns up” (thanks Vince V – Swingers) Finally putting the team first and not trying to dominate every game and take every shot.
[Reply]
I think my favorite was the confrontation between Kobe and Artest and how the both reacted. Kobe was doing everything he could to win which really pissed off Artest. But the way the responded, Kobe with a totally cool head and Artest not so cool but not overboard like he might have in the past. I really felt that Kobe was in control of his total game and was showing his team not to worry, they had the ultimate leader. As far as Artest goes, once he was a Laker I reflected on how he kept his cool and didn’t implode. I think it was a critical moment for both players and especially Artest’s future as a Laker. Had he totally lost it, would he be a Laker today? I think not.

Two the’s in the preceeding post should be they. I’ve been a Laker fan since 1968 and now follow them from the Great Northwest. I would cherish the DVD if I happen to get it. Thanks for the chance.
[Reply]
There was a few…I told my sister if someone could steal the ball we could win the game, a few seconds later Ariza stole the ball on an inbound play from Denver and you know the rest of the story.
Go Lakers!
