One of those bright spots for the Los Angeles Lakers during the NBA Summer League was the impressive play of second-year guard Jordan Clarkson. The 23-year-old had a number of impressive offensive performances and capped it off with arguably one of the best Lakers highlights of the summer with a vicious dunk over Jack Cooley of the Utah Jazz.
The Lakers ultimately finished NBA Summer League play with a disappointing record of 1-4. Although the team didn’t have the kind of showing that many anticipated, there were some positives in an otherwise dismal performance overall.
Along with rookie D’Angelo Russell having his best game in Las Vegas with a Summer League-high 21 points, Clarkson finished with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal in the loss to the Jazz.
