The Los Angeles Lakers looked out of sorts on Monday night, resulting in their 76-66 loss to the New York Knicks in their third Summer League game. Jabari Brown led the Lakers in scoring with 20 points, while Jordan Clarkson finished with 13 points and Tarik Black had 10.
The Lakers finished with 20 turnovers, eight of which belonged to D’Angelo Russell, who acknowledged after the game that he’s forcing passes, rather than allowing the game to come to him. Mark Madsen said he regretted giving the team the day off on Sunday, which would not happen again.
Julius Randle discusses his frustrations with finding his rhythm and Clarkson assesses how his chemistry with Russell on the court has progressed.
