VIDEOS: Kobe Says He’s Fat, Season Opener Questionable

After returning from Germany, Kobe Bryant speaks to the media about his Achilles progress. Bryant says his next step is explosiveness and getting back in shape. Kobe actually tells us what he’s been eating over the past six months, and if it’s true it doesn’t sound good! Then again, I wouldn’t put it past Kobe to strategically tell the media he’s been eating donuts, hoping his opponents underestimate him. Plus, although it doesn’t seem likely, Kobe doesn’t shut down a season opener return. Check out our videos below and don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel

Brought this awhile back (strength and conditioning). Given that KB24 spends the off season working on this it may take Kobe a while to return to his normal style of play/level.

The first 30 games of the season are played in November and December thus he should take his time and return when he’s ready and hopefully up to some of his level of conditioning to help the team though KB24 at 80% is better than many at 100%.
