VIDEO: Williams Crashes Young’s “Swaggy P Don’t Get Fined” Interview

After Tuesday night’s New Year’s Eve loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young said the team hasn’t had fun in a long time and the Lakers needed to get back to that mentality. Well, the Lakers grabbed their first win of 2014 against the Utah Jazz on Friday night and it was back to having fun in the Lakers locker room. As a matter of fact, Shawne Williams was in the mood to steal a little bit of the spotlight from ‘Swaggy P’ during his post-game interview, and a hilarious interaction ensued, all while Young was attempting to wear sunglasses inside.

“This is Shawne P right here though, I’m going to bomb Swaggy’s interview. He ain’t the only person swaggy,” Williams laughed as he waded through the media to crash Young’s post-game interview. “He wearing shades in doors though, have some class buddy.

The two shared a good laugh until Lakers spokesman John Black realized Young was wearing his sunglasses during his post-game interview and called out for him to take them off. (Apparently, according to Black a player can get fined for wearing sunglasses inside during a media interview).

“I’ll get fined? Swaggy P don’t get fined John Black, that’s the rule baby, you know, me and (David) Stern tight like that.”

For Young’s sake, let’s hope the NBA commissioner and new LA superstar are as ‘tight’ as he says. If not, once again, thank you Nick Young for such classic entertainment.
