Last Thursday, Kobe Bryant partnered with Sports Spectacular in a television special, “Kobe Up Close,” where ticket proceeds benefited Kobe and his wife, Vanessa Bryant’s, charity foundation, KVBFF, and Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular in part to eradicate homelessness throughout the Los Angeles community.
Viewers of “Kobe Up Close” gained much insight into Bryant and his seventeen years in the NBA and with the Lakers. Fans also learned some new things about the shooting guard, such as him saying he would have attended North Carolina if he chose to go to college and who he thought was the toughest player to guard in his experience.
It definitely was a great night all around as Lakers and Kobe fans were treated to an in-depth interview, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel at the Nokia Theater, while benefiting an important and great cause. In case you missed the special, which aired on AXSTV, here is the video of the full interview. (h/t KB824Legend)
