When it comes to Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal, you honestly never know what comedic stunt he is going to pull. His personality and charm captivated the NBA during his 19-year career. His off the court tactics were well documented, while his ability to laugh at himself always resulted in a good time.

Although O’Neal currently resides as an analyst on NBA On TNT, he also has spare time to participate in many entrepreneurial activities and in different commercials throughout the country. Many see O’Neal on the IcyHot or The General insurance commercials, but O’Neal is back at it again with another hilarious commercial with American Express.

During the commercial, O’Neal teams up with Compton-based rapper Kendrick Lamar. Widely regarded as the premiere rapping talent across the globe, Lamar has a unique personality that isn’t dedicated towards the mainstream style of hip-hop.

While Lamar can often push forward a serious and political tone, he partnered with O’Neal to present a humorous spectacle in an American Express commercial showing their attempt to decide what soap bar to buy at a store in Los Angeles called Soaptopia.

The commercial also demonstrates some of O’Neal’s spectacular dance moves, as the duo also exit the store together with a distinct size difference in the streets.

The two have some fun deciding between different scented bars, getting creative with their choices. The funny pronunciations, along with Lamar’s attempt at a jump shot, combine for a funny commercial promotion with American Express when you shop small using your rewards card.
