VIDEO: Play Of The Game Is Xavier Henry’s Buzzer Beater

The Lakers won their first preseason game of the season yesterday on the strength of Xavier Henry’s 29 points off the bench. Not only did Henry win player of the game honors, but he also had the play of the game with a last second buzzer beater at the end of the first half.

With the game tied at 57, Wes Johnson inbounded to Henry, who fumbled the ball. After picking the ball back up, Henry heaved a shot from about 50 feet out and watched as the desperation shot fell through the hoop as the clock expired. Check out the play below.

Yeah he is a balla ! He needs major minutes even if he is not starting.
Keep “STEPPING UP” big X ! We love watching players with skills.

      • Oh Henry!

I agree with you both.We should start a fan club for Xavier Henry. He is like a James Harden or Tracy McGrady type of player.

He is fearless and he plays with reckless abandon driving to the hoop.Right now he is one of the best finishers in the NBA right along LeBron James and a few others.Xavier Henry gets a lot of calls from the refs in his favor all the time.He is a expert at drawing fouls and getting free throws.

Yeah he is the real deal.Holy Toledo Hornets lets another stud player leave them and come to the Lakers, first i was Kobe to the Lakers for Vlade and now they didn’t extend Xavier Henry and they lost his rights and he signed with LA.Damn that is ironic. You can just tell he has that it factor to be great.

I knew Football QB Colin Kaepernick would be great after just a game,it’s easy to see these things,no need to be a Einstein to figure it out. It’s easy to know talented future stars.I knew Kobe would be a star since his first Las Vegas Summer League game. It’s that simple.

The Lakers got a big time prospect and they need to spend hundreds of hours to work on creating a offense built around him also just keep putting in work with the coaches and yes he is a future All Star no doubt about it.

        Go Lakers!
