On Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, Pau Gasol returned to the starting line-up after missing three games with an upper respiratory infection. While the trade rumors will continue to circulate with the Lakers struggling, the two-time champion made history in the first quarter.
With the Bucks out to a 14-0 lead, Gasol made the Lakers’ first basket and passed Pete Maravich for 100th on the all-time scoring list with 15,948 points. While he struggled in the first quarter, Gasol played fairly well the rest of the way as he finished with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
