VIDEO: NBA Welcomes Kobe Bryant Back With Tribute Video

The return of Kobe Bryant is officially upon us with the five-time NBA champion set to make his season debut for the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night against the Toronto Raptors.

In honor of Bryant’s return to the floor after an eight-month absence, the NBA has released this tribute video.

With Bryant sitting out the first 19 games of the season, the Lakers have been anxiously awaiting his return and it couldn’t come at a better time with the team starting to hit their stride. Following the win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday, the Lakers are officially over .500 (10-9) and playing well with a lot of new faces making an impression.

    As if the Western Conference couldn’t get more competitive at the 1!! Per Yahoo sports, Rudy Gay will be traded to the Kings, per league sources. Could use a franchise PG! down the line. SMH

    PG’s in the Pacific Division…CP3, Curry, Dragic/Bledsoe, and now R Gay. While management still prays for Nash, SMH. Don’t see K Lowry leaving the raptors now. Although, a trade is still possible for you know who (3 team trade).
