Video: Mitch Kupchak Explains Lakers’ Trading Procedures

By | March 15, 2012|

During Mitch Kupchak’s press conference Thursday afternoon he discussed a variety of different topics. While discussing the Lakers’ departures (Derek Fisher, Luke Walton), he also mentioned the new additions and what they bring to the table for the Lakers.

First off, Kupchak mentioned his concerns for the team moving forward this season.

When asked about the front office and their decision making procedures, Kupchak stated that it was himself and Jim Buss who were the primary decision makers, but did talk about coach Mike Brown’s role in the process.

Kupchak went on to talk about how the team needs players to step up now that the team has lost Fisher’s leadership, both on the court and in the locker room.
