VIDEO: Lakers’ Nick Young And Girlfriend Iggy Azalea Featured In GQ

Nick Young may be sidelined for the Los Angeles Lakers’ next two games, but he probably won’t be alone.  Young is currently in a relationship with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and the couple is featured in the March issue of GQ Magazine, which depicts the couple’s lavish style.

Young and Azalea’s story dates back to when the swingman sent out a tweet directed at Azalea and with the #WomanCrushWednesday hashtag.  The couple would eventually arrange to meet and the rest as they say, is history.  Upon meeting Young, Azalea tells Mark Anthony Green of GQ Magazine she became fond of what has captured Lakers fans’ affinity:

Nick’s really goofy and funny,” Iggy says, telling NBA fans something they already know about a man who nicknamed himself Swaggy P.

Though Azalea states Australians don’t watch much basketball, she does hope Young doesn’t ruin the sport for her:

We don’t really watch basketball in Australia,” she adds. “I always joke with him, ‘I hope we don’t break up, because you’d ruin basketball for me.’ I really hope he doesn’t ruin basketball for me.

The Los Angeles native holds a player option for next season, but recently said he isn’t sure what will happen after the 2013 season.  Young’s remarks came after general manager Mitch Kupchak said he believes the guard will opt-out of his current contract.
