Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was back at practice in full form on Tuesday, allowing the media to watch him play half-court 5-on-5 for almost 20 minutes. Head coach Mike D’Antoni said Bryant practiced at full speed today (and full-court) without any limitations. Bryant said he was “pleasantly surprised” with how he’s been moving at practice and also said he really didn’t have to hold back.

Bryant still didn’t give a timetable for return, but he is not ruling out playing sometime in the month of November. Check out our video of Bryant from today’s practice below, which includes Kobe shooting, cutting, passing, fadeaways and even an air ball. i think he will be back first week of Dec.

It looks that way but he’s mentioned that he may be limited in doing certain things… I always said early or mid December but IMO he should try return around mid December which would buy him more time to train and adjust according if he needs to for now.

Late november, early December… whatever, what is important is Kobe is fully healed. It’s just a matter of regaining his strength and conditioning and having some reps with the team on practice to keep the chemistry on the floor as fluid as can be.

i was a lil worried watching him play defense on young,it looks like his achilles isnt fully healed yet because i noticed young able to create a lot of space on him.

Kobe plays a high level brand of basketball. He just need s to be certain he is ready to play at a high level when he steps on the court whenever that is.

Cheers to his successful return to the top !

While I wouldn’t be surprised if he were to suit up for Friday against the Warriors – if for no other reason than to show Mark Jackson and Harrison Barnes firsthand that he GOT BACK UP – I still say Dec. 1st’s tilt, back at Staples, coming off the 3-game east coast roadtrip, against the Blazers, and in their Sunday whites, represents the IDEAL time for Kobe to make his return.

Furthermore, I say MDA and the team needs to prove to the Mamba that they have what it takes without him to win 3-4 out of the next 5 games to get right around .500 before he comes back.

He’s a bit rusty. That’s to be expected tho. Not too concerned about that cause I know he will find his rhythm fairly quick. Once he get back to vintage Kobe, he will prove this ungrateful league why he is the best player of this generation. Go Lakers!
