VIDEO: Kobe Bryant On Rajon Rondo, ‘He’s An A–hole, Like me.’

Kobe Bryant spoke to the media before the Los Angeles Lakers played the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Rajon Rondo who had been out with a torn ACL was making his debut against the Lakers on a Celtics team without Paul Pierce or Kevin Garnett. Bryant was asked about how difficult he thinks it will be for Rondo to adjust to a once championship team that’s been dismembered.

“From what I understand he’s an a–hole, like me, so I think he’ll manage.”

After the game, Rondo was asked how he felt about Bryant’s description. As expected, Rondo was all for it.

“That’s a great compliment, coming from Kobe. I feel the same way about him.”

Rondo is an exceptional player. Some of his PG moves are quite impressive. He’s no “Kobe”, but he does qualify as a star basketball player. He knows how to take it to the hole (not to be confused with a-hole) in very creative ways – it’s always fun to watch PGs who can make tricky moves like that (esp. tonight, actually).

I am sick and tired of all this tanking talk it’s crap.Sure the Lakers are in a drought for now as a franchise but come on now who was silly enough to think the Lakers would get a top 5 pick in the NBA Draft???

Seriously Kobe is coming back and Pau is playing his basketball in a couple years at least on the offensive side of it and Kendall Marshall is dishing out dimes to the bench players like this imagine how many dimes he will dish out when Kobe and Steve Blake,Steve Nash comeback.See MDA will run a 2 Point Guard set like he did before with Nash and Blake only this time it will be Kendall Marshall and one of the Steve’s.Lakers will not make the playoffs from the looks of it but they won’t be the worst in the NBA or not even bottom 5.

The season is so early just halfway in and they already have 15 wins without Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash basically.Imagine if both of them get healthy and start playing great basketball then the wins will go up and they will creep on being a .500 team to end the season.Still a lottery team but not in the top of the lottery but more like the 13th pick or something.

Hey i don’t script the Lakers season i just know MDA said that Kobe and Nash will be back after the Grammy Road Trip. Also Xavier Henry and Jordan Farmar are coming back very soon to add much needed depth.Yes the Lakers will start winning games again this season. No playoffs but they will compete much harder when the veterans return from injuries.Love it or leave it.
