tim-duncan-kobe-bryantWhile both Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan have been rivals on the court, and had their intense battles, they were co-stars in a Sprite commercial back in the 90s. Before the championships, and MVPs, there was Sprite. Take a look at this 1999 Sprite commercial starring a 20 year old Kobe Bryant, and rookie Tim Duncan.

Its hard to picture the days of Kobe Bryant with an afro and Tim Duncan in commercials. However both started somewhere. Now as we fast forward to the present, both Bryant and Duncan are regarded as the two greatest players of their respective generation.

The two legends combine for nine NBA Titles, three MVPs, and five finals MVPs. Duncan 37, is attempting to win his 5th ring tonight.

Bryant, who had his fair share of commercials in his early years, was sponsored by Sprite until 2003. Bryant has been in numerous commercials over his 17-year career with sponsors such as Sprite, Spalding, Nike, Adidas, and McDonalds.
