VIDEO: Jeremy Lin Still Trying To Enjoy Remainder Of Lakers Season

The Los Angeles Lakers put up their 56th loss this season, after being blown out 106-78 by the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday night, setting a record for the most losses in franchise history. It was the third time this season the Lakers lost to the Clippers and after the game, Jeremy Lin said he thought they made it too easy on their opponent.

When asked if he thought the Clippers had extra motivation going into this game since it was against the Lakers, Lin said he did not fully understand the history between the two teams.

I just got here, so I don’t fully understand the context or the history of everything between the two organizations, but to be honest it doesn’t matter to me too much.”

In the video above, Lin says despite the losses, he’s still trying to enjoy each game of the season, because he knows within about a month into the offseason, he’ll already be missing basketball. Lin scored just 6 points on 2-8 shooting with two assists and three turnovers in his 17 minutes. Though Lin had been putting up great numbers since the NBA All-Star break, those numbers have started to taper off in the last few games.

The Lakers will have a chance to watch film, practice Monday and matchup against the Clippers again on Tuesday night.
