VIDEO: James Harden Clueless On Defense Once Again

James Harden is arguably one of the best players in the NBA today. Harden is instant offense. An elite scorer. A superstar in the opinion of many. Too bad he can’t play defense worth a lick.

Somehow, someway, Harden received two votes for the NBA’s All-Defensive team last season.

How did that happen? Clearly, a couple voters were drinking heavily and were playing a joke on all of us.

Want proof that Harden is quite possibly the worst defender in the NBA?

During Harden’s time with Team USA this summer, the face of the Rockets franchise has shown, without a doubt, that he’s clueless on the defensive end of the floor. Here’s the latest evidence to prove that fact in the gold medal game against Serbia, via James Damiano:

Not sure how Mike Krzyzewski was able to keep his cool and not immediately bench Harden after showing that lack of defensive awareness.

Harden better enjoy being a dominant force offensively while he can. The minute he starts struggling or his body starts to breakdown later in his career, he’s done. No NBA coach is going to put up with that.
