Video: Ice Cube Blasts Dwight Howard For Leaving Lakers (Explicit)

We all know that there were some Laker fans that weren’t happy with Dwight Howard’s departure. Well, one of those fans was rapper/producer/star of Are We There Yet?, Ice Cube.

Mr. Cube took the stage recently and berated Howard in an expletive-laced tirade (my favorite!), telling Dwight that, essentially, he’s just not up to Laker standards. And, if we’re keeping this PG-rated, he questions Dwight’s….well…we’ll go with courage. How’s that?

I can’t take a guy serious who did movies like Are We There Yet? How you go from doing Friday’s movies to kiddies movies. Please, Ice Cube is a studio gangsta, WHERE THEY DO THAT AT? Some of ya’ll Lakers fans really did to get over it! What’s next are we going to hear that Jack Nicholson is on suicidal watch? Ice Cube no one is scared of you! Lakersnation ya’ll look really pathetic, it really is sad to watch because ya’ll wasting all this energy on a man who’s move on, so why don’t ya’ll try the same thing. Ya’ll are supposed to be the Lakers right?

Its called growing up u clown! Cube was 36 when he made the first are we there yet, everyone matures and grows up. He was a gangsta cuz thats all he knew growing up in compton but when u make millions and move out the hood then u realize u dont have to be all thuged out n shit u can just be a family man.

Thanks for the largely incoherent rant. I don’t think cube was trying to scare anyone. Just expressing a lot of the same frustrations many Lakers fans are feeling. I suppose, according to you, it’s an emotion we’re not entitled to and god forbid someone express it publicly.

You might as well say that every rapper to come out is a studio gangster cuz they all grow up, from jayz to nas to the game to 50 cent to snoop to whoever, they all used to live that lifestyle but now they rich and the grow up there is no need for it.

Cube shouldn’t have even bothered…Like I mentioned 2wks ago he wasn’t the right fit for the team and thankfully the CLUELESS management wouldn’t had to waist $118 million to figure it out…

Thanks, Cube. We’ve all been writing paragraphs about this, and you said it in 4 words.
