VIDEO: Earl Clark Returns To Phoenix, Ready To Prove Himself

Lakers forward Earl Clark, who went from bench warmer to Lakers starter, is returning to Phoenix tonight (the city that drafted him in 2009 as the 14th pick overall, and didn’t give him a chance before trad him to Orlando). Clark has returned to Phoenix before, but it hasn’t been as a Lakers starter creating buzz throughout the NBA.

Now, Earl Clark has a chance to show the Phoenix Suns what they passed up, and you can bet he’s psyched. Check out what Earl had to say about returning to Phoenix, and why this game definitely means something extra.

Serena the energy and spirit you have as a Lakers fan, I wished that same/similar spirit and energy was in our injury prone Lakers…Lost a big game today. Earl Clark played few games, he is raw but got my respect. He is getting almost 18 times paid less amount of money then other overpaid players but he is playing at super high level.
