2. Jerry West This is one of the only lists where Jerry West will ever be listed as number two. One of the Top 50 players in NBA history, West is the only player in league history to win Finals MVP while on the losing squad. Unfortunately, that is what defined much of West’s career was the Lakers inability to get past the Boston Celtics in the Finals. However, the man who became the NBA logo certainly has an everlasting legacy. West was a 14 time All-Star and league MVP in 1972, and holds many other records that are still standing today.
