Top 5 Lakers Shooting Guards

3. Gail Goodrich Another Hall of Fame guard in the Lakers history pages graces our third spot as the shooting guard list continues. Goodrich was a key member of the Lakers 1971-72 squad that set an NBA record with 33 consecutive wins. That year the Lakers also won their first NBA title since moving to Los Angeles. Goodrich was the leading scorer on that Lakers team and was also a member of five NBA All-Star teams. On November 20, 1996 the Lakers retired his number 25 jersey, forever cementing him into Lakers lore.
