nbafacebookEvery week, our loyal fans head over to the Lakers Nation Facebook page to give their thoughts on everything happening in Lakerland. Belief In Mitch Kupchak

10. Derek Andre Henley Mitch, I believe in what you’re doin, with the youth, Kobe’s recovery, Pau’s restful off season and Steve N. health returning we could grab a 6-7 seed and do damage–just watch the Purple and Gold work!

On Steve Nash

9. Myeshia Thorns I’ve got nothing bad to say about Steve Nash.  I wish the Lakers could have signed him back in his younger days (at the height of his career instead of towards what is likely the end of it), but I’ve got nothing but love for him!!  Hope he can stay healthy and help the Lakers out this season!  Lord knows we’re gonna need all the help we can get!!!  #justmyopinion #lovemylakers

Kurt Rambis Being An Assistant

8. Todd Marshall I am happy to see Lakers Legend Kurt Rambis, back with the team as a Coach!! 🙂 Kurt Rambis knows Defense, and I am praying all of the Lakers, will listen to Kurt Rambis, and learn to play Defense!!

On Kobe Naming Derek Fisher His Favorite Teammate Of All-Time

7. Shannon Byrne Well Duh!!  I am not shocked Kobe said this at all.  Derek is the only person that Kobe ever listened to when D-Fish was on the Lakers.  Kobe and Derek have mad respect for each other.  Kobe knows that Derek is the man.  Also he knows that Derek is a huge reason that the Lakers have 5 championships!

On Pau Gasol’s Career Accomplishments

6. Rocky Roads Torres 2 nba championships, 3 finals appearances, missed winning Olympic gold twice by a combined 12 points to team USA, multiple European cup championships, Gasol’s is the most fundamentally sound big man in the world. No he’s not a classic oivot man like Kareem but he’s the best all around 7ft player around. And that’s a fact!

Anger Over The Vetoed Chris Paul Trade

5. Steven Kuo It was a brilliant trade because Lakers offered two of the their best players in Pau and Odom, and back then people thought Lakers gave up too much. Now we know that they correctly estimated CP3’s value. If not for Stern, Lakers’ future would’ve been set instead of the uncertainty they’re facing right now.

4. Nick Lee In the history of basketball never has a commissioner been so open in an attempt to block a team from dominating.  I will always not respect David Stern for that move- and it doesn’t help that the team he helped- the crosstown Clippers are acting with a sense of entitlement when they received a “gift” which changed their franchise around and lead to all kinds of drama for the Lakers.

On ESPN Ranking The Lakers So Low

3. Hani Ahmed Never thought the Los Angeles Lakers would be the league’s most overlooked team – with Kobe Bryant. I love it

2. Tre’ Williams These experts can kick rocks man!! Forever doubting the Lakers. Just goes to show how much they envy and think about us. Besides, these so called experts are guys who were fortunate enough to make it to the NBA, but didn’t do a whole lot in their careers…Tim Legler…Jalen Rose…

On Kobe Bryant Returning For Opening Night

1. Felisha Alvarez No rush he needs to take his time so he can play the rest of the season and then some! We can’t risk it! Plus this team needs to not always depend on him , they need to learn how to win without him or they will not have a chance this season. He can’t be doing everything.
