With the Lakers set to take on the Miami Heat tonight, let’s take a moment to reflect on one of Kobe’s more memorable game-winners that he’s had in his career.
Before the Big Three had assembled in South Beach and before the Lakers had secured their second consecutive championship, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade battled against each other in a game for the ages on December 4, 2009.
The Lakers were on the verge of surrendering their seven-game winning streak, as the Heat were competing hard on both ends that night. However, on the final possession of the night, the Lakers had one last chance to try and get the victory. And of course, Kobe would save the day with a one-legged heave from the top of the key that would bank in.
