We’re officially revealing our Lakers Nation crest to everyone after getting some feed back from our Twitter Followers and Facebook Fans this past weekend. Probably the most embarrassing item that they caught was the misspelling of “refrigerator.” We’re pretty sure we have most of the kinks worked out and a lot of you have noticed some of the symbols we’ve put in there.

Just know this though, this crest is built to grow with Lakers Nation. As we win more championships and collect more memories, this crest will continue to represent everything that is great about the Lakers and their fans.

The Globe – Represents Lakers Nation encompassing the world

The 2 Stars – Represents Minneapolis & Los Angeles

The Trophy – Represents the 15 NBA Championships

The Horizontal Bars – Each one represents every decade the Lakers have been around.

The Map – Shows where the Best Basketball in the World is Played

The Jersey – To honor the greatness that have built the Lakers into the Franchise they are today.

The Tagline – A Tribute to Chick to represent the highest winning percentage in league history.

The Fabulous Forum – This is where the foundation of the franchise was built.
