IMO Lamar's ego is a little bit uncomfortable with being just a cog in the Laker machine, because he knows he will probably lead the Bench Mob again and so he'd rather be the #2 guy in Miami, even if it means not getting another ring in the near future!! LO would never admit this, but I honestly believe this is just as much motivation as the money, because Miami cannot afford to pay him even as much as Lakers have already offered!

i have always been a HUGE LO fan... ever since the Clips, and in Miami... but now i'm so disappointed in him. 3 yrs, 4 yrs, 5 yrs? the offer he had from us, with the bonuses from winnin championships, your family will be fine!!! stop eatin so much candy! its messin with your reasoning. who else is out there for us to pick up? Kwame? definately not AI... this sucks!!! i cant even brag about our championship without someone throwing the LO thing in my face... he better hope he doesn't stay in the west if he does't come to his senses...

This summer was supposed to be warm and fuzzy as I bathed in the afterglow of our beloved Lakers securing the NBA championship. Instead its been an emotional roller coaster; the LOWS: losing ATHREEza to the Rockets, replaced by the HIGHS: signing Ron Ron and Shannon Brown and now the BLUES: the protracted on and off-again negotiations surrounding LO. Although I'm a negative person by nature, I truly believe The Candy Man will re-sign with the Lakers. At least that's what I keep telling myself as I continually ESPN, the Los Angeles Times and LakersNation websites for news with my fingers crossed.
