Steve Nash Soccer SHOWDOWN 2014 – Win A Trip To New York City

Showcasing athletes from both basketball and soccer and raising funds for critical needs services for kids, this fun game of pick-up soccer in the middle of New York City is one of the most innovative charitable events this summer!

Bringing together some of the top NBA and soccer stars from around the globe for the seventh year, it’s a great opportunity for sports fans to get up close and personal with some of their favorite athletes! It’s a 7-on-7 match that has been running for seven years now, and in the past has included Leandro Barbosa, Massimo Ambrosini, Marco Belinelli, Raja Bell, Thierry Henry, Chris Bosh, Klay Thompson, Claudio Reyna, Tony Parker, Adrian Mutu, Grant Hill and many more. There are a variety of ways to participate in this year’s Showdown, whether that’s hanging with your friends, sitting pitch side or entertaining a group of your friends or even playing in this exhibition match of a lifetime. And, the event isn’t exclusive to donations: if you are unable to donate, bleacher seating is free to the public!

Here are the details for this year’s Showdown in New York City:
What: Steve Nash Foundation Showdown – soccer friendly featuring NBA, pro soccer stars
When: Wednesday, June 25th @ 6:30 pm
Where: Sara D. Roosevelt Park on the Lower East Side (Chrystie Street between Stanton and Rivington), NYC

AND, there is also a fun event the next day at one of their favorite Lower East Side locations to watch the USA v. Germany World Cup match.
