Steve Nash Keeps Free-Agency Options Open

By | June 25, 2012|

Current Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash will be a coveted free-agent come July 1st and all signs point to him leaving the franchise. Nash won two league MVPs with the Suns and made them into title contenders during the middle of the decade.

Nash admitted that he would like to join a championship quality team, and as his career comes to an end, Nash will keep his options completely open, ESPN New York.

“It sounds like a company line, but my situation really right now is I’m open to everything and I will definitely look at every situation that comes my way on Sunday, and I’m not going to close myself to any opportunities.”

Many teams will go after Nash this summer with the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat being the most popular names. Although Nash is in his late-thirties, he can surely help any team he goes to.

I wish we could trade bynum and gasol for Tyson Chandler and Amare Stoudemire if the money wasn’t an issue.

If they could get Nash at an attractive price he might be worth taking a chance. The biggest problem the Lakers have is age and athleticism. They need to get younger and quicker.

They got a quicker and younger with Ramon Sessions right? what happened?

Basically, they need a PG and a leader. But they let go of Fisher. I wouldn’t hurt but will be a big help if Steve Nash is in the Lakers’ roster. That way, somebody can take the lead and some coordination on the court.

F**k the coaching style of Mike Brown, it doesn’t work. It didn’t work on LeBron and the Cavs, but I guess we got Kobe. Same coach, different players -BIG DIFFERENCE.

nash is a great fit for the lakers. he defense is not the best but if we keep our squad nash is the best free agent option at the piont guard position that we can get and thats if we are lucky. due to the fact the lakeshow is broke. D. williams wants to play elsewhere and get paid.
