Sick Kobe vs. Hurt Kobe

Written by on 11/20/2009 in Editorials - No comments

Last season, in a contest against the visiting Cavaliers, Kobe suffered a dislocated ring finger, again in his shooting hand, in the opening minutes.  Kobe’s performance was relatively subdued, as he went 9 for 22, scoring 20 points in the Laker win.  His performance deteriorated in the next two games, against subpar teams in the Clippers and the Wizards, respectively 2 and 3 days after the game against the Cavs.  He was a combined 9 of 26 in those games, scoring 29 points.

We contrast that now with games Kobe has played while sick.
