Shootaround Report: Lakers Need To Play With Urgency Vs. Grizzlies

After a another tough loss on the road last night to the Atlanta Hawks, the Lakers have no time to dwell as they must turn right around to take on the always tough, physical Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. As we have now passed the quarter point of the regular season, these tough losses need to start turning into wins if the Lakers plan on making a playoff push. Nick Young believes the team has to play like ‘there is no tomorrow’ to defeat the Grizzlies, and it’s hard to disagree with him.

If the Lakers are able to get the win, they will have to do so without a true point guard again. While Jordan Farmar is getting closer to returning, he isn’t quite ready yet and is not going to push it too much. When he comes back he has to be 100 percent. While Kobe Bryant has played admirably, his ankle has continued to bother him since his return. Farmar, or any point guard, returning would really serve to take some pressure off of Bryant.

No, the Lakers need to play a “fun” game & remember for every game they lose, they get closer to a BETTER 1ST ROUND PICK…. Let the players who “YOU THINK” will be given a longer term deal in the future…. Let Sacre, Young, Henry, Hill & Farmar . (When he gets back) That group lets remember are the BEST bench in the NBA meaning if you can keep it in tact, you have a ring pretty close in your future…

I have some trade proposals for this bad team.Piece of junk coach needs to be fired. This Lakers roster sucks it’s pure junk. The pieces don’t fit.Kobe Bryant looks like a shell of himself,he is washed up and old he misses his shots and turns the ball over at a alarming rate also he is too slow to play defense, just a sad pathetic contract he has Jimmy Short Buss is stupid for giving up the money to Kobe before watching him play come on fool wake up.

The joke going on is that the Lakers suck so bad that they have to pay people millions of dollars just to watch this garbage team play, paying Steve Nash and Kobe nearly $33 million that’s funny also Kaman gets paid $3.5 million to watch this trash team.

Here is a trade that might pump this bad lottery team up Michael Kidd-Gilchrist to Lakers for Jordan Hill and Xavier Henry. Then in a separate trade give up Pau Gasol and Steve Blake with Jodie Meeks for Anthony Benett and Jarrett Jack with Anderson Varejao. Then trade that dork Chris Kaman and crappy Wes Johnson with sucky player Shawne Williams for the bad contract of that Raymond Felton and you all get the the young stud you want Iman Shumpert that’s the trade off the Lakers get Iman Shumpert to make up for taking a horrible contract of piece of turd Felton.Lakers can roll with this team.MAKE TRADES RIGHT AWAY!

Lakers The Way It Should Be
    PG Jarrett Jack,Raymond Felton,Jordan Farmar
    SG Kobe,Iman Shumpert,Nick Young
    SF Michael Kidd-Gichrist,Nick Young
    PF Anthony Bennett,Anderson Varejao,Kelly
    C Anderson Varejao,Robert Sacre

That was a good game only because the Lakers won. That game should have been a runaway. They never should have let the Grizzlies back into the game.
